A Georgia eSIM covers the country with fixed data plans. If Georgia is one stop on a trip through Türkiye or Europe, the Europe eSIM includes it. Neither covers Armenia or Azerbaijan. Expect good signal in Tbilisi and Batumi and gaps on mountain roads.

Tbilisi and Batumi
In the cities you will use data for taxi apps (agree the price in the app, not on the street), maps through the hilly old town and messages with apartment hosts. Arrival and getting into town: Tbilisi and Batumi. Low-cost flights often land at Kutaisi, a few hours’ drive from Tbilisi, so check transfers before you fly.
Mountain roads
The road north from Tbilisi to Gudauri and Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) climbs through mountains where signal comes and goes. On hikes above the towns and in side valleys it can disappear. Download offline maps for the whole route, save your guesthouse’s number, and carry a power bank. Snow can close the high road in winter, so check the road status in the morning when you have signal.
Families and groups
Many visitors come as families. One plan per adult phone is simplest; one hotspot for the group works if you stay together. Most plans allow sharing, but it depends on the local network, so check the plan details first and budget data at the streaming rate. More in family trip eSIMs.
